I want to thank the person who wrote the obituary and captured Chris' life events for us. I have always described Chris as the smartest person I've ever met. But he was also the most giving and thoughtful. He took us repelling once. This was when my son(age 12) got the bug and later became a lead climber for Company C of NH Guard mountain div. My favorite Chris story is when he made an artificial leg for me on his wood lathe. He laughed how much it shook the whole house when he was turning it. I also keep the Derry News with his picture on the front page holding his White House Christmas ornament. To know he passed on during a full moon brings me peace and comfort.

His kindness and his love for his son, Alex. I am a better person for having known him. When Alex was my young squire and docent at the Robert Frost farm, Chris was a welcome presence on many occasions in innumerable ways.
