After working with Kit for nearly 5 years, I very rarely ran into a problem that needed his assistance that he couldn´t help me solve. Grateful to have had the chance to know him. He was such a genuine, chill, and good guy who really knew his stuff. He will be missed.

His laugh is something that will never leave me. He was always looking to cut up, and make sure us kids were having fun. We love you Aunt Kathy and are so thankful for the years we had with Uncle Kit.

It was such a pleasure to work with Kit. He always enjoyed our crazy work gatherings. I searched in my photos to find this one from one of our LEGO Play Days. He of course made a control cabinet! And he said that he had so much fun that day... I will always remember him fondly.

Kit was a dear friend. He was part of our "friend" group back in the early navy days. This was truly unexpected sad news and I know he will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

Kit was a warm, caring, smart and fun person. Always a good time when we were together talking about the good old days. He especially was proud to talk about his latest Lego Land installation all over the country when he was working for the Lego company. He would usually call me to talk whenever a hurricane was threatening Florida or us up here in Virginia. He will be missed deeply by everyone who knew him. Marty and I send are deepest sympathy.

We are lifting you all up in prayer Jaye! Our families were always close ! I know I have the best memories of our Presbyterian Church family! I remember coming over to the Gruhens house and we just had so much fun! All our trips together on Sundays after church! Kit was always such a funny guy! He made us laugh and enjoyed getting us all in trouble! lol We all hold our own memories of Kit and pray he is meeting up to celebrate his home coming with your mom and dad ! He will be missed! Love, BillieJean

Lots of great memories of Kit Gruhn:
o He lived in the basement of his mom and dad´s house. It was exactly what we see now on "That 70´s Show."
o He had a Corvair station wagon. It was the only one I have ever seen. We called it the gnome mobile. He pinstriped red flames on it but had them going backwards across the hood.
o We got caught smoking at scout camp. Kit and I did not get in as much trouble as the others since we brought our own and the others stole theirs from Scoutmaster.
o In Junior High Kit smoked KOOL cigarettes. By the time we got to high school he had switched to Vantage.
Kit was one of the smarter guys I had ever been around. Prayers for his family during this difficult time.
