It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Christopher W. Harvey, who departed this life on September 11, 2025, in Indianapolis, Indiana, as a result of a tragic hit and run accident. He was surrounded by his wife, Angela Harvey, family, and close friends at the hospital during his final moments.
Christopher was born on June 29, 1971, and lived a life filled with enthusiasm and a zest for outdoor adventures. He enjoyed tinkering with cars and trucks, His leisure time was frequently spent playing sudoku puzzles, dominos, board games, and cards, activities that he relished as means of connection with family and friends. A lover of music, Christopher had an eclectic taste and found joy in listening to artists from various genres, including the likes of Jelly Roll. Halloween, his favorite holiday, brought out his spirited nature, and it was a time he cherished dearly.
Christopher's legacy will continue to live on through his beloved family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Angela Harvey, and his mother, Ruby Brady. He leaves behind three children: Justin (Victoria) Edwards, Travis (Kristie) Edwards, and Crystal (Isaac) Curry, as well as three stepchildren: Renee (Joel) Wilcher, April (Nolyn) Wilcher, and Justin Wilcher. In addition, he is survived by his brothers, Jeremy (Teresa) Harvey and Ben (Gretchen) Brady, along with 14 cherished grandchildren who will fondly remember him.
Christopher was preceded in death by his father, Larry W. Harvey, as well as his grandparents, Corbet Harry and Beatrice Brock, and his beloved "Mama," Esther Johnson, and Raymond McClellan.
As we reflect on Christopher's life, we celebrate his passions, his warmth, and the deep connections he forged with those around him. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
