Christopher Austin Hilton, 29, of Hamilton, GA passed away July 11, 2025.
A memorial service with Military Honors will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, July 18, 2025 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with his best friend Kai Charfauros officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Austin was born May 10, 1996 in Columbus, GA son of Troy Scott Hilton and Christie Deal Myhand. He graduated from Harris County High School in 2015.
Austin loved hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends especially his two sons. Austin served in the United States Army for 4 years and was stationed in Fort Hood Texas. He proudly served his country as a combat veteran deployed to Iraq. In his free time he enjoyed playing golf and line dancing. Austin should be remembered as a very kind, selfless person.
Austin was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Catherine Dudley; great grandfather, Melvin Robertson; great-grandmother Louise Robertson; great grandmother Norma Arnold and his aunt, Melissa Deal.
Survivors include his sons, Liam Hilton of Midland, GA, Aiden Hilton of Midland, GA; father, Troy Hilton (Jennifer) of Hamilton, GA; mother, Christie Deal Myhand of Columbus, GA; sister, Peyton Chalmers (Austin) of Fortson, GA; step sister, Sydney Eubanks (Zane) of Bay Minette, AL; grandparents, Lawrence Hilton of Hamilton, GA, Sandra Hilton-Jacob of Midland, GA, Debbie Griffin of Columbus, GA; niece, Raegan Chalmers of Fortson, GA; nephew, Cullen Chalmers of Fortson, GA; cousin, Avery Hilton (Rachael) of West Point,GA; cousin, Hailey Hilton of Chelsea, AL; cousin, Jacob Hilton of Hamilton, GA uncle, Jamey Hilton (Rhianna) of Hamilton, GA; and numerous other loving family.
In lieu of flowers, contribution may be sent to Folds of Honor.
