Chris ("Hawkeye" as we called him) was a ham radio operator KF7FUG who occasionally attended lunch with us at King Buffet in Taylorsville. He was always smiling and seemed to enjoy himself quite a lot when we were together. Chris could occasionally be heard on the radio, calling out for somebody to talk with or chatting with a small group.

I knew Chris from the Ham radio community. He was active and very interested in things going on and was a gentleman that everyone liked.
I admire his sense of adventure.
RIP Chris.

Hadn´t seen Chris in a couple of years but knew him pretty well. I gave him rides a few times. It was admirable that he did what he could with what he had. Used to talk to him on the radio occasionally. RIP with a whole body on the other side. Carl WE7OMG
