Christopher Holleran Obituary

Christopher Scott Holleran
Christopher "Chris" Scott Holleran, 45, of Newington, beloved husband of Sheryl A. (Springer) Holleran, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 15, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Danbury, Chris is survived by his wife Sheryl; his mother Mary Holleran of Berlin, CT; his two brothers, Ryan Holleran and his wife Stephanie of Marshfield, MA and Shane Holleran and his wife Colby of Bethel, CT; as well as his beloved nieces, Mackenzie, Madison, Gia, Sophia, Alexis and nephew Jack. Chris was predeceased by his father, Charles Holleran.
Chris graduated from Marist College in 1999 with a Master's in Public Administration. He was an outstanding athlete, excelling in football for Marist College. Chris also had a successful career as a financial and corporate recruiter.
Chris was an exceptional husband, son, and brother, but his most cherished role was that of Uncle to his beloved nieces and nephew. Chris' love and kindness was multiplied by a thousand when his partner in crime and niece, Mackenzie, was born, only to have five more blessings in Madison, Gia, Sophia, Alexis, and Jack. He was a loving Uncle who gave all his heart.
Chris was kind, sincere and was everyone's "go to man", always there for advice and guidance. He was an avid kayaker and loved getting out on the lakes and rivers. His giving spirit and infectious smile will be missed by all who knew him.
A Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Chris' life will be held on Friday, (January 20th) at 11:00 a.m. at St. Brigid Church, 1088 New Britain Avenue, West Hartford. Burial will be private and there are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
