Christopher Hord

Christopher Hord, 52, of Boonville, MO, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the University of Missouri Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 2:00 PM at H.T. May and Son Funeral Home in Boonville. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Chris was born in Jefferson City, MO on April 16, 1973. He graduated from Jefferson City High School. Chris was married to Betty on October 11, 2002, they were married for 23 years. Chris worked as a truck driver for Swift Transportation for four years and he loved it a lot. Chris enjoyed riding motorcycles, watching Star Wars, Star Trek movies and playing on the computer with friends. He also loved going to the pawn store every weekend just to look and going out to eat with his family. He loved Christmas, and watching the kids open up their presents, looking at classic cars and watching videos on his phone. He also loved sitting by the fireplace and much more. He mainly loved motorcycles and being a truck driver and spending time with his family every chance he got. Chris leaves to cherish his memory his wife Betty, three children and six grandchildren, Tabitha Maxson (Bret Maxson) Brittany Casto (Jesse Wilson) Corey Casto, grandchildren Grant Heinrich, Carter Maxson, Zad Maxson, Ryland Wilson, River Casto, his parents Gary Hord (Noraleen), Linda Morice (Bob) his sister Trish Hord Foster, his cousins Barry Hord, his pets Coda and Milo and other family members and friends. Chris was predeceased by Waylon Wilson (grandson), Heidi (pet) and Bob and Norene Smith (In-laws) and Bob Norice, grandparent. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to H.T.
