Christopher J. Horn

Christopher J. Horn, 65, of Pocono Summit, PA, passed away on April 2, 2022 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 5-8 p.m. at Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Ave., Cedar Grove, N.J. Services will begin on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. A prayer service will be offered at 11:30 a.m. Interment, with Military Honors, will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J. Born in Hasbrouck Heights, N.J. to the late William and Dorothy Horn, Chris lived in Clifton, N.J. before settling in Pocono Summit. Prior to retiring, he was a carrier relations manager with AT&T in Bedminster, N.J. An Eagle Scout, Chris was a member of Boy Scouts Troop 17 in Hasbrouck Heights. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during peacetime. Chris enjoyed doing word search puzzles and sudoku. He loved being a chaperone for Special Olympics of New Jersey events. Chris had an infectious laugh and was a loving family man and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Chris is survived by his wife, Debra (nee: Deubel); children, Jason Horn (Heather), Ken King, Amy-Leigh Johnson (Chris), Denise King, and Katelyn Fosterling; grandchildren, Michelle, Gavin, Selena, Faye, and Ella; and siblings, Gary Horn (Annmarie), Trish Rivera (Eddie), Janet Ali (James), Mary Maness, and Carol Millette.
