Christopher Todd Jessup, 33, of Locust, NC passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023.
Chris was born March 30, 1990, in High Point to William Rex Jessup, Jr. and Tara Kay Meredith Belaire. Left to cherish his fiancée, Erica Austin of Locust; children, Desiree Coleman, Trinity Jessup, Peyton Jessup, Trinity Austin, Camdon Jessup; father, Rex Jessup Jr, and wife, Renee, of Granite Falls, NC; mother, Tara Belaire, and husband, Donald of Duson, LA; grandmother, Roxanne Cordle of Granite Falls, NC; grandfather, William Jessup Sr. of Trinity, NC.
Chris is also survived by his siblings, Chris Simpson, Dominique Jessup and fiancé Matt Freeman, Christen Belaire, Miranda Babineaux and husband Damion, Caleb Belaire, Natasha Kizer and husband Matthew; grandson, Braylen Hanline; sister-in-law, Jessica Stroud and boyfriend Mike Doby. Chris deeply cherished his nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Norma and Thomas Meredith, Clyde Cordle.
Chris was a lead lineman for ULCS. Chris loved spending his workdays teaching the guys everything he knew. Chris was an avid outdoorsman. Chris loved fishing and hunting with his father and son. He loved spending weekends on the lake and at the beach with his family and friends. Most of all, Chris was an amazing, fiancé, father, son, and brother. He will be forever loved and greatly missed.
Chris' Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm on Saturday, August 12, 2023, in the fellowship hall at Mission Baptist Church, 12444 Mission Church Rd, Locust. You are invited to share a memory of Chris at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mission Church. 12444 Mission Rd. Locust, NC 28097
