Carrie,
I'm so sorry. Chris and I have worked together for many years. He was with Brenntag when we first met. He was the same age as myself. We had a lot of great things in common. You might have met my wife Elizabeth and I at the Kentucky Oaks in Louisville one year. We had such a great time. He will be missed. Always had a smile and not a bad thing to say about anyone. Please accept my condolences and peace be with you and your family.
Regards,
Rich L Eberle (Nicepak Products Procurement Category Leader)

Absolutely one of the best humans to walk this earth! He was so proud of his kids and was not shy about telling the world how wonderful they each were. I am so sorry for this huge loss to each Kirby family member. His bright light will be missed by so many.

Getting to know Chris early in my career was such a blessing! He was always a friendly voice at the other end of a phone call and at times the brightest point in a stressful work day. He always talked about his family with such pride and was so relatable as I was starting a young family. I will always cherish getting to know and work with him!

I went to school with Chris and Traci. I enjoyed many, many times together. Playing at their house. Years later, I even shared an apartment with him and his room mate Jamie Dill. We all had so many fun times at the Orchard Apartments! I loved to hear Chris laugh. He would always listen and even give me boyfriend advice! He was a great brother, and best friend to me for many years. I regret not keeping in touch as we grew older. He will always be remembered and have a special place in my heart.

God made only one Chris Kirby. No one can replace him. He was an outstanding mentor and helped me navigate my early years at Brenntag. Such a great person to work for and with but more importantly I always knew he was my friend no matter what. Love you Chris! Peace and comfort to your family.

Chris was one of the best co-workers I have ever had. In the years Chem Inc was short staffed I started many days at 5AM working at my kitchen table. We would see each other on-line and quite often have a quick call to discuss work, sports, weather, etc. No matter how early I started Chris was always already at it. Those were tough days for me but whenever I think back to it all I remember is those early morning calls over coffee. I will never forget him. My heartfelt condolences to his family .

Having known Chris as a supplier, then a co-worker and friend, and as a competitor, my heart is saddened to hear of Chris´s death, taken far too soon.
His intellect, friendliness, and confidence put everyone at ease when with him. He always spoke so proudly of his family, and you could see how much he loved them.
My prayers and condolences go to his entire family during this difficult time.
