Chico ~ Christopher Paul Liebel, 48, went to be with our Lord Saturday, November 1, 2025 in Decatur.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Christopher was born on July 25, 1977, as the cherished son of Paul Glen and Sharon Marie (Simons) Liebel in Dallas. He found joy and companionship in his marriage to Sheri Owens. Christopher was dearly loved by his family and friends, serving as a devoted husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend. His absence will be profoundly felt by all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Glen Liebel.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Sheri Owens; his sister, Christie Marie and Perry Beard; his brother, Phillip Anthony and Ciara; his mother, Sharon Marie Liebel; his nieces and nephews, Stephanie Naron and husband James, Jessica Renea Beard and fiancé Skyler Sandusky, Hunter Ryan Beard, Emersyn Rose Liebel, and Ezlynn Raine Liebel; his great-nephew, Kayson Paul Naron; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
