Christopher Christo M. LuGrain, Sr., age 50, of Lake Station, passed away July 31, 2022. He was preceded in death by his grandparents-Francis and Mary Ann LuGrain; Christo is survived by his mother-Patricia M Pieper; son-Christopher M. LuGrain, Jr.; step-parents-Dean and Georgia Kontos; his soulmate of 18 years-Candy Smith; brothers-Jason (Colleen) Kontos, Brian (Barb) Price, Ronald Price, Daniel Kontos; aunts and uncles-Kim LuGrain, Barb Hicks, JoAnn Conley, Mark (Doris) LuGrain, Mike LuGrain, and Bernice Garcia; many cousins, nieces and nephews; many friends who were the same as family to Christopher.
A Celebration of Life for Christo will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at Riverview Park, 2701 Ripley Street, Lake Station, from 12-7:00 p.m. at the Pavilion titled Red Tails . It will be a potluck so please bring a dish and BYOB. We would love for you to come and join us to celebrate his life and birthday. We can promise lots of stories, laughs and tears. He was so loved and will be greatly missed.
