Christopher Shawn Luke

It is with profound sadness and immeasurable love that we share the passing of Christopher Shawn Luke, who left this world far too soon, on November 12, 2025, at the age of 29. Though his time with us was brief, his impact was lasting- a bright spark whose light touched everyone who knew him.
Born on November 21, 1995 in Meridian, MS, Chris brought joy, laughter, and a sense of humor into every space he entered. A trait which he will be remembered by.
Chris graduated from Florence High School and Jackson State University. He attended Hickory Grove Baptist Church.
Chris had a deep love for football and he was a member of the 2022 American Arena League Football Team, The Mississippi Raiders. He, also, loved fishing, video games, his family and especially for his wife, Shelby, who he wed in January of 2024, and his daughter, Abbi-Gayle, who he loved so deeply. His love will forever be a guiding light carried in the hearts of his devoted wife and loving daughter.
He is survived by his wife, Shelby Luke, his daughter, Abbi-Gayle Warden-Luke, his mother Amy Hoover (Terry) of Huntsville, his father, Greg Luke of Meridian, grandmother, Sheila Luke of Meridian, and grandmother-in-law, Elaine Reid, his sister, Laura Shelton of Florence, his loving in-laws, BJ and Sonya Reid, all of his niece's who he loved so much, Baylee, Harper, Aubree, Hallie, and Hollyn. Along with his brother-in-laws, Tylar Reid (Haidyn), and Preston Taylor.

Visitation at 10:00 - 2:00 with services to follow.
Though his time here on Earth was short, Chris's light will never fade. We hold dear to our hearts, that we will see him again one day, and he is rejoicing with the Lord.
