Christopher "Chris" Luoma

Christopher Luoma, age 67, passed away on December 2, 2025, in Fairhope, Alabama, surrounded by his loved ones at home. Born on November 5, 1958, in Jackson, Mississippi, Chris and his family moved to Fairhope, AL where he grew up on Mobile Bay.

Chris was a 1977 graduate of Fairhope High School, where his love for music and sailing begin. As a young man, he played drums in the Fairhope marching band and worked as a lifeguard at the Grand Hotel during high school.

He went on to build a successful career in West Palm Beach, Florida, specializing in pools, spas, and water features. In 2006, Chris returned to Fairhope, Alabama where he continued to build and design pools and spas and eventually had his own business, C & L Services.
Chris found joy in sailing, music, photography and he loved Alabama Football, Roll Tide!

He is survived by his devoted wife of 29 years, Lori Luoma; daughters, Tiffany Watson and her husband, Brandon and Tabitha Helms; and his four grandchildren, Allie Watson, Kristina Molina, Kristian Molina and Brooklynn Heck. His memory will also be cherished by numerous other family members
and friends.

Chris was preceded in death by his mother; Mada Edmonds; stepfather, Henry Edmonds; his father, William (Bill) Luoma; as well as his siblings, Emily, Lynn, Mark and Jan.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
