Christopher Magnuson Obituary
Christopher Allen Magnuson, aged 76, of South Bend, Indiana, a cherished brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2024, in Mishawaka, Indiana. Born on May 19, 1948, to Leo and Katherine (Dorn) Magnuson, Chris grew up enveloped in the warmth of a loving family, alongside his siblings Beverly, Gladys, Ronald, and Douglas.
A proud graduate of Mishawaka High School, class of 1967, Chris carried the spirit of his hometown with him as he ventured west to California, where he would spend the next four decades of his life.
Chris's leaves behind his sister Beverly (Victor) Buckley, and he is fondly remembered by a host of nieces and nephews, whose lives were enriched by his presence. His gentle guidance and unwavering support were the hallmarks of his role as an uncle.
Preceding him in death were his parents, his sister Gladys (Eugene) Bigelow, and his brothers Ronald Miller and Douglas Magnuson, with whom he is now reunited.
As the sun sets on a life well-lived, we honor the memory of Christopher Allen Magnuson. He lived with intention, loved without reservation, and left this world a better place. His legacy will continue to inspire, and his memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who loved him.
As per Chris' wishes there will be no formal services held at this time. Hahn funeral home has been entrusted with making the final arrangements.
