We've been so lucky to have him in our lives

Libby, I am sorry for your great loss.
Chris was my childhood buddy. Some of my happiest memories are of playing with my brother by the Roaring Fork in Glenwood Springs. We rode the horses all over our grandparents' ranch, pretending to be Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. We even cleaned out the ancient chicken house and made it our home base. We often rode a rickety red wagon down the rocky hill to our pretend home. He had a kind heart. I will miss him so much.
As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. I will be there whenever you need me, and so will John.
Love, Jean
