Our deepest heartfelt condolences to the entire McFedries family. May I say what a great young man he was. A fellow wartime veteran, Chris and I shared those deep feelings of healing that only the three of us, me, his father Ian and I might understand and I was honored and will always see in my mind´s eye his unforgettable smile. Just hours before my son Michael told me of his passing I was walking around the house and like a beacon was reaching out to me I saw this small mushroom-- a Celtic Cross, like the Crusades wore to Jerusalem. I wonder now if it was an omen of young men and women who like it´s been said: "For those who have borne the battle." Rest in Peace brother.
