Christopher Anthony Moreno

Christopher Anthony Moreno passed peacefully on December 21st, surrounded by his devoted family, including his daughter Brittany Moreno and granddaughter Aliyah of Tucson, AZ; Lupe Moreno, his mother; his eight siblings (Pat Maruca of San Diego, Sylvia (Mike) Quintanar of Rancho Cucamonga; Barbara Moreno of Delano; Vincent Moreno of San Diego; John (Lupita) Moreno, Irma Moreno, Ernie Moreno; Lupita (Joel) Perez of El Centro; and numerous nephews and nieces. Chris is preceded in death by his father John C. Moreno, Jr.

During Chris's brave 21-day battle with pancreatic cancer, Chris was surrounded by an outpouring of love, support, and excellent care by his work-family from El Centro Regional Medical Center, El Centro Paramedics, Accent Care, and many others whose lives he touched throughout his 30+ years of service at El Centro Regional Medical Center.

We invite all who knew him to join us in honoring his life and his memory which we will forever carry in our hearts.

Services for Christopher will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Cristo Rey Mission (Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish) 153 E. Brighton Avenue, El Centro, CA. The viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m., with a rosary at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Mass at 11:00 a.m.

Burial will proceed at 12:30 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who kept Chris in their prayers, shared cherished stories, and stood vigil with him. We take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace, resting in the loving arms of the Lord.
