Christopher Reid Morris

Christopher Reid Morris age 53, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at his residence in Maben, Mississippi. Chris was born on July 7, 1972, in San Bernardino, California to the late John Reid Morris and Linda Janice Owen Morris. He was a skilled machinist, served in the United States Navy and worked as a crane operator for Glenn Machine Works in Columbus, Mississippi and was also an avid hunter and fisherman. Chris is survived by his loving wife, Amanda Lynn Parker Morris; one daughter, Kayla Morris; one son, Colin Morris all of Maben, Mississippi; three sisters-in-law, Peggy (Wayne) Mann, Jean Williams and Becky (Sammy) Jones and two brothers-in-law, Richard McAlpin and Andy (Tina) McAlpin. He is preceded in death by both of his parents, John Reid Morris and Linda Janice Owen Morris. Celebration of Life Services for Chris will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora, Mississippi. Friends and loved ones may visit with Chris' family on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 12Noon until time for services at 2:00PM at Oliver Funeral Home. Rev. Donnie Buckner will officiate the services. Chris' body will be cremated following the services per his wishes. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is honored to be entrusted with all arrangements for the Morris family.
