He was my dance teacher from around 8th-10th grade. He was truly incredible and the most supportive person I have ever met. He helped me find my love for ballroom dancing and for that I am forever grateful.

I met Chris, like so many others, through Boston University's ballroom team, and was fortunate to continue to know him through West Coast Swing. Chris had an incredible presence in any room, and seeing him and Amanda dance together was truly special. I remember the first time he came in to join Amanda for a team lesson. I remember thinking how regally he carried himself, and how confidently he moved.

It was truly hard to get my head around the news of his passing, and though I knew him very little it's so hard to say "Chris was" because he was one of the most alive people anyone could know, though I knew him quite distantly.

I would like to extend my condolences not only to his family but especially to his dance partner Amanda Clark. Amanda, I cannot imagine how profoundly his absence must be felt to you. Please know that the art you made together has shaped countless others in a truly deep and impactful way. I am a better, stronger, and more joyful dancer for having known you both and seen you together. I know the same is true for dozens more. He was a blessing to his community in life, and his memory will continue to be a blessing.

I met Christopher at Boston University Ballroom dance club about a year ago and shortly after I asked him about taking private lessons from him. We first had the introductory lesson. I was expecting this to be just 40 min and the time we selected was just enough for that. He later asked me to pick another time since that time was cutting too close and he said he wanted to get to know me and my dancing better without rushing which will give him to get a better sense of my dancing level. We spent more than an hour at Balera Ballroom Dance Studio l where I started to take private lessons from him. While we were trying to find a mutual time and date, we were back and forth and was having hard time to nail a time. Finally, he said how about Monday morning at 9.30 am. I never had dance lessons so early in the morning and weekday but I didn´t want to miss this spot so I said ok. I would look forward to my 9.30 am Monday morning class event though it would be cold in the room. I learned so much from Christopher in such a short time. He cared about the details and made me feel like a great dancer. Whenever I say, I think I am slowly getting these moves, he would tell me the opposite. He texted me after our lessons asking if I am enjoying the lessons. He told me that I am fun to teach and I soak up information. I told him that I loved his teachings and really enjoying our lessons. He said "I love what I do". Christopher was an amazing human being, great dancer and teacher and most importantly a great mensch. We need more people like Christopher in this world and it is so hard to conceive his premature departure from our lives. I do miss our Monday 9.30 am dancing, I do miss sharing my baked cakes with you. Thank you for all you taught me and I feel very fortunate to have met you. You created a place in my heart forever.

Chris was a good guy. I didn´t have the opportunity to get to know him very well as I only interacted with him a couple of times but in those times he made a lasting impact on me in a positive way that I won´t forget him. Sending love and positive vibes to the family as I know he will be greatly missed. Much love.

Christopher was my dance student at Franklin Pierce College where he loved to perform both in theatre productions as well as in our dance concerts. He was always the kindest and most generous partner with those with whom he was working. A gentle person always.

Chris once invited me to visit him at college. We had planned on going to the midnight opening show of Spiderman at the movie theater. There was an issue with the tickets that he had pre purchased for us and the theater was sold out. Chris managed to talk our way into that theater and we watched that movie sitting in the aisle. It was one of the most fun nights I ever had. I have other memories too, all of them wonderful. This is just one of my favorites. He is a vibrant and beautiful soul and I will miss him always.

My favorite memory, or memories, of Christopher were at the Friday night dance parties at Fred Astaire. We had a tight-knit group and we always celebrated the end of the week together and got to dance with the teachers. Christopher was one of mine. He was always happy and helpful and ready with a smile. He made life richer for many people, including me. Rest in peace, Christopher, or should I say, dance with joy! I'm sure that's what he's doing and that he'll continue to guide those he loved in this life.

My favorite memory of Christopher was when he taught me this dance routine that was tango and it was a mixture of American and standard and oh, I fell in love with dancing even more. He made dancing even more fun, he knew me and always tried to make it interesting. Not a dull moment on the dance floor because Chris knew the moves. He always said, you are so talented and I you get things so quickly. I loved how he was so caring and reassuring which expanded my love for dance. Chris taught me a lot, one thing is stay passionate, just as he did. I am so lucky to have met him and I will treasure our dance memories forever.
