I met Chris working at FedEx in GSO NC. We became closer friends when he couldn't get anyone to help him retrieve a old GMV pickup truck near VA. I offered to help because I have a love in old vehicles and he took me up on it.. Then after meeting Erin and the boys I find out later that Erin was one of Pam's kids that I baby sat long ago. My mother was a close friend to Pam and they worked at Volvo White motors.
I introduced Chris to tubing on the Dan River. We occasionally talked my mother passed a year ago and I reached out and we reconnected for a brief time on FB. I sorta fell off FB and was looking at my friends pages when I saw that he passed..Now there's another void on this planet that can't be filled. He was a awesome person he came off as hard when you met him but time showed that he was a soft caring person in heart and soul when it came down to it. He loved his family and while he wouldn't admit it to many he did love Pam because she brought his wife which in turn gave him his wonderful boys.
I'm gonna miss you brother but I'm not to far behind so I'll see you again soon enough in God's house.
