Christopher J. Patenaude

POTSDAM - Christopher James Patenaude, 46, peacefully passed away in his sleep on July 12th, at Montecito Skilled Nursing Facility in AZ, he was in the care of Stillwater Hospice after battling a lengthy illness.

Chris was born on March 14, 1979 in Potsdam. He graduated from Potsdam Central School in 1998. Chris studied Criminal justice & Psychology at SUNY Canton, and Culinary Arts & Business Management at the Connecticut Culinary Institute.

Chris eventually settled in Mesa, AZ where he had lived for the past 20+ years. He worked as a Customer Care Representative at J-Curve Technologies until he fell ill. He previously worked as a Customer Care Representative at Shutterfly and as an Intervention Specialist at Iveda.

Chris is survived by his mother and step father Marsha and Brad Clements; his 5 step siblings: Rachael, Rhiannon, Robert, Richard and Rebecca Clements; his best friend of many years Anthony Gray; his father, Ted Patenaude; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Chris was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Edwin and Jean Farr, and his paternal grandparents Theodore and Beverly Patenaude.

A Graveside service will be held on August 19th, at 10am at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Parishville.
