Christopher Glenn Pickens, 47, of Moulton, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Cypress Cove in Muscle Shoals. The graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at Lindsey Cemetery with James Latham officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing.
Born on May 19, 1977 to the late William and Charlotte Oliver Pickens, Chris attended Wilson High School in Lauderdale County. He loved music and taught himself to play the guitar, keyboard, and drums.
Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Carolyn Pickens; sons, Christian Pickens, Christopher "CJ" Pickens, Jr.; step-son, Lance Brewer; sister, Leeann (Steve) Corum; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Christopher was preceded in death by his parents grandparents, Grady and Martha Oliver, and Ellie and Virgie Pickens; and first wife, Jennifer Pickens.
Pallbearers will be Lance Brewer, Steve Corum, Jerry Brewer, Blake Glasco, James Morgan, and Michael Guleff. Honorary pallbearers are Dakota Glasco and Dewayne Pickens.
The family extends special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Cypress Cove and North Alabama Medical Center.
