Christopher B. Pitt, 49, of Tuscarawas, passed away at his home on March 14, 2026, following a three-year battle with cancer.
Born on October 6, 1976, in Rochester, New York, Christopher was the son of the Gerald and Bonny (Allen) Pitt.
Before his health declined, he owned and operated a cab in Brockport, New York. He was dedicated to helping other people and spent much of his free time helping those around him. He also enjoyed primitive camping with his family. He was gifted at the tomahawk toss. He also enjoyed brewing his own beer.
He is survived by his parents, Gerald and Bonny Pitt; brother, Daniel Pitt; niece, Brittany McCarthy; nephew, Sean Nathaniel Pitt; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In keeping with Christopher’s wishes, cremation care will take place and no services are planned at this time.
