Christopher Ryan Pryor, 43, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025, at his home.
A graveside service will be held at Hickory Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 25, 2025, with Rev. Lee Eggers officiating. The family will receive friends after the service and other times at the home of his aunt, Janice East.
Chris was born in Danville, Virginia and relocated to Ruffin, NC. He was known for his great sense of humor and outgoing personality making a huge impression on all who knew him. He enjoyed cooking, listening to music, watching racing and football, as well as being with his dog. He was a carpenter for many years. His time here on earth may have been shortened but he will never be forgotten.
Chris is preceded in death by his mother, Kimberly Pryor King; grandparents, JD and Estelle Pryor.
He is survived by his daughter, Alexis Pryor; grandson, Asher Hamilton; Aunts, Janice East and Debra Griggs (Steve); uncle, David Pryor (Debby); faithful canine companion, Zeus as well as a large and loving group of extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rockingham County Animal Shelter at 250 Cherokee Camp Road Reidsville, NC, 27320.
