Christopher A. "Chris" Sawyer

Christopher A. 'Chris' Sawyer, age 40 of Addison, NY passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 3, 2024 at his home.
Born on January 19, 1984 in Corning, NY, he was the son of the late Douglas Sawyer and Cherokee (Meade) Curley. Chris was a graduate of Rio Salado High School in Arizona, class of 2001. He married Brandie Thomas on May 19, 2006.
Chris had a love for motorcycles and old cars. He was creative and was always working on various projects around his home. His family and friends will remember him as someone who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need and someone who had a heart of gold. He was a quiet man who cared for others before himself. His children were his world, and he loved them more than anything.
Chris is survived by his loving wife, Brandie Sawyer of Addison, NY; children: Damien Thomas-Sawyer and Raven Thomas-Sawyer; mother, Cherokee Curley of Oil City, PA; brother, Adam (Luchona) Meade; sisters: Latasha Sawyer and Desaray Sawyer; father-in-law, Julius Thomas; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
