Christopher Schuebel Obituary
Christopher was born on June 27, 1971, in Racine, Wisconsin, the son of Robert and Alice (Barstow) Schuebel. He was raised in the Racine area and graduated from Horlick High School in 1989. Following high school, Chris worked for Host Carpet Systems and later for Sign Pro, a sign printing company, both located in Racine.
In 2012, Christopher moved to rural Boyd in the Town of Wilson, Eau Claire County, where he made his home with his brother Dan. During this time he was employed by Brack Thermo Systems, working in asbestos abatement in Altoona.
Chris was known for his willingness to help others and his ability to fix just about anything. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, whether feeding or hunting deer, or fishing in the Wisconsin waters, often sharing those moments with family and friends.
Chris will be dearly missed by his brothers, Andy (Deborah) Schuebel of Stanley, Daniel Schuebel of Boyd, and Charles Schuebel of Stanley; sisters Gail (Patrick "Jesse") Bowe of Tilden, Mary Jo Kopf of Greenfield; aunt Lorraine Schuebel; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Alice Schuebel.
A celebration of life for Christopher will be held later in the year in the Stanley Boyd area.
