Christopher David Schurle, age 35 of Leonardville, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2019.
He was born on June 26, 1984 in Manhattan, the son of David and Kelley (Giles) Schurle.
On November 7, 2012, he was married to Trista Lynn Troy. She survives of the home.
Christopher was was the owner of Wood Floor Specialists and loved remodeling homes and flooring. He enjoyed grilling for his family and friends and traveling, especially to the smoky mountains in Tennessee.
He is survived by his wife, Trista Schurle of Leonardville; two daughters, Emma and Erin Schurle, both of Leonardville; his mother, Kelley Schurle of Manhattan; his father, David Schurle of Manhattan; his grandparents, Lymon and Shirley Schurle of Manhattan and Peggy Giles of Manhattan; one sister, Crystal Schurle of Manhattan; one brother, Troy Schurle of Kansas City and many other relatives and friends.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Frontage 109, 109 W. Barton, Leonardville, Kansas 66449.
A memorial has been set up at Peoples State Bank in Leonardville and Manhattan for his daughter’s, Emma and Erin Schurle’s Education Fund. Memorial contributions may also be left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home.
