In loving memory of Chris Sharpe
September 23, 1975- April 7, 2025
With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Chris M. Sharpe, who left us far too soon on April 7, 2025, at the age of 49.
Chris was a man who lived life with passion, joy, and unwavering loyalty to his family, his friends, and, of course, his teams. A lifelong fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles, Chris could often be found cheering from the stands or from his favorite spot at home, proudly sporting his team colors and celebrating every victory like it was the championship.
He was an avid runner, lacing up his sneakers in every season and finding peace on the open road or local trail. Whether training for a race or simply going for a jog, running was his time to reflect, recharge, and connect with the world around him.
More than anything, Chris will be remembered for his generous spirit, his contagious laugh, and the way he made people feel truly seen and valued. He was the kind of person who showed up for anyone. Whether it was for a 5K, a tailgate, or simply when someone needed a friend, he would always be there with a smile.
Chris was preceded in death by his father, Michael Sharpe.
Chris is survived by his loving wife, Frances, together for 27 years and married for 22. He is also survived by their three children, Ashley (James), Cody, Jamie and his cherished granddaughter Ivy, who brought endless joy to his life. He also leaves behind his four loyal dogs Sebastian, Archie, Max, and Apollo, who were constant companions and brought him immeasurable comfort, laughter, and love.
He is lovingly remembered by his mother Susan Sharpe, his sister Nikki (Brandon) Greer, his in-laws, James J. and Margaret R. Greenhalgh, his sister-in-law Kimberly (William) Swanson, and nieces and nephew Morgan (David) Colagreco, McKenzie (Michael) Sperratore, Colin Swanson, Jillian Swanson, Cali and Graci Greer.
In addition, Chris is survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, all of whom will carry forward his memory and the joy he brought into their lives.
A viewing will be held on Friday April 11, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA. Interment will be private. In honor of Chris, we invite everyone to wear their favorite Phillies or Eagles gear, lace up their running shoes, or simply do something they love, just like he always did. Donations in Chris's memory may be made to the donor's favorite charity. Online condolences can be made at www.paganofuneralhome.com
