Christopher Brian "Chris" Singleton, 49, of 2690 Wards Road, Hurt died Tuesday, November 15, 2022.
He was born December 10, 1972 in Lynchburg, a son of Paul Daniel "Danny" Singleton and Mary Farthing Singleton of Hurt. He was a mechanic at English Auto Alignment and loved to hunt and fish.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandmother, Zada Singleton; two special children, Madison and Colby; one aunt, Linda May and her husband, Jerry; one uncle, Larry Singleton and his wife, Martha; and numerous cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Paul F. Singleton, maternal grandparents, Bill and Ruth Farthing; an aunt, Joan Hagood; and three uncles, William, Harold and Charles Farthing.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Finch & Finch Chapel, Altavista by the Rev. Gary Shupe with interment to follow in Altavista Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends beginning one hour prior to the service and other times at the home of Danny and Mary Singleton.
