Christopher Lee Stanfield, age 54, born on May 10, 1971, in Brownsville, TN, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 1:00 PM, at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home with Bro. Bob Connerly and Pastor Emmanuel Gudiel officiating. Burial will follow at the Woodville Cemetery in Ripley, TN. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home.
As a dedicated Project Manager for GSI, currently working at Blue Oval, Christopher had a remarkable career characterized by leadership and commitment to excellence. His professional life was complemented by his vibrant personality, which was marked by his ability to bring joy to those around him. Known for his quick wit and fondness for making jokes, Christopher had a unique way of brightening up any room he entered.
Above all, Christopher adored his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Nadia Stanfield, of Brownsville, TN; his son, Andrew Stanfield, of Chattanooga, TN; and his daughter, Shelby Hartline (Morgan), of Brownsville, TN. Christopher also takes with him the warmth and love of his grandchildren, Ella Reese Hartline and Tripp Hartline. He will be fondly remembered by his sisters, Janice Spencer (Jesse) and Rita Nelson (Mark), both of Ripley, TN, and his brother-in-law, Gary Arwood of Ripley, TN.
Christopher was preceded in death by his parents, R.C. and Ruby Scallions Stanfield, as well as his brothers, Talbert Stanfield and Steve Stanfield, and his sisters, Janet Arwood and Debra Ann Stanfield.
Christopher had many interests that brought him joy. He enjoyed art and drawing, loved to cook, and cherished moments spent fishing. A devoted fan of the Oakland Raiders, Christopher's enthusiasm for life was palpable, and he relished every opportunity to share these experiences with his loved ones.
Pallbearers for the service will be Morgan Hartline, Lonnie Hodge, Tommy Mullins, Rocky Webb, Hunter Jones and Joey Medina. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jesse Spencer, Andy Kirkpatrick and Gary Arwood.
He will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of his family and friends. The family requests that memorials be made to the charity of the Donor's Choice. All arrangements and services are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home.
