Christopher "Chris" Dean Staples, 38, of Terlton, Oklahoma, died Monday, August 8, 2022. Chris was born on August 30, 1983 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Harold and Linda Staples. Chris attended Webster High School in Tulsa. On June 26, 2013, he married Whitney Ratliff and together, they had three daughters.
Most recently, he had been working in real estate, remodeling and selling homes. Chris had many friends he considered family. One of the things he looked forward to each year was attending Rocklahoma with friends. He also loved taking his girls and joining friends and their families at the lake or the Blue Hole in Salina, Oklahoma. Since he was a very little boy, Chris loved children; his daughters most of all. He spent time with them riding bikes, playing board games, going to the creek to look for arrowheads, riding horses, and shopping at the mall.
Chris had a great sense of humor and he loved joking around. Chris also knew the Lord, and attended church with his daughters on the weekends they were all together. Chris is survived by daughters, Madison Brooke, age 14, Christina Deann, age 12, and Khloe Jolie, age 10. Additionally, he is also survived by his mother, Linda Mix and his two brothers, Hal Staples of Tulsa and Michael Mix, currently of Ramstein, Germany.
