I moved to Fordyce halfway through my sophomore year of high school in January 1977. Chris and I became friends on my first day at FHS. We spent many nights on the Smitty´s parking lot in "uptown" Fordyce and playing pool at Cobb´s barn. The trips to the blue hole outside of Bearden were always memorable. We were baseball and football teammates all the way through. I want the family to know Chris will be greatly missed by all his Fordyce brothers. I had the pleasure of meeting Camille a couple of years ago when Robin and I met her and Chris in Gatlinburg for a weekend. My sincerest condolences to Camille and the entire family. What a great friend, teammate and brother. JMP.
