Christopher Dean Taylor

Christopher Dean Taylor, 52, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, after a courageous and hard-fought battle with cancer. He was born on September 22, 1973, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Gary Bruce Taylor and Janice Hagan.
Chris was a devoted family man whose greatest joy was spending time with those he loved. His passions in life were the outdoors, a love he shared with his family through fishing and hunting. Throughout his illness, he faced every challenge with strength and resolve. He will be deeply missed by all who knew his kind heart.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Bruce Taylor, and grandmothers, Mavis "Mickey" Thompson, and Faye Smith.
He is survived by his loving wife of many years, Tanya Taylor; his two cherished daughters, Savannah Reisert and her husband Joshua Reisert, and Audriana Hemmerlein and her husband Christopher Hemmerlein; mother, Janice Hagan; his beloved siblings, Kimberly (Jason), Tina, Bethany (Greg), Terry and Benjamin (Eric). Chris was a proud and adoring grandfather to seven grandchildren: Bryson, Xavier, Sebastian, Elisha, Benjamin, Silas, and Ella. He also leaves behind many loved ones including aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
His funeral services will be held at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 16, 2025, from 11:00-8:00 PM, and the service will be the following day at 11:00 AM.
