Christopher Trefz Obituary
Christopher Shawn Trefz, age 48, passed away on August 14, 2024. He was born in Chillicothe, OH on April 15, 1976 to Mary Jo and Raymond Leon Trefz.
Christopher enjoyed watching OSU Football and The Cincinnati Reds. He loved being a father and spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jo Trefz and his grandparents; Kathleen and Rodney Trefz and Donna and Perle Carmean.
He is survived by his father, Raymond Leon Trefz; his loving wife, Krista Trefz; his children, Gracie Trefz, Brayden Bowling and Noah Trefz; his sisters, Rhonda Hollis, Jackie Gullette, Bonnie Robinette and Tammy Pennewitt. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, OH 45424.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to K9s for Warriors or American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
