Chris,I'm so sad.I've been looking for you so much and now that I have found you again you're gone.I simply don't have words. You are such a nice person, full of joy.I'll never forget when we knew each other in Rome during your studies:a great friendship soon was born and grew in the years;only the distance has kept us apart but the fact that after years I've been hardly looking for you shows what a great person you are!The fact you are Up there will make happier our ascent to God.I miss you,Federico

Connie, Frank, and all who knew and loved Chris,

My heart is full of wonderful memories of Chris. We were in middle and high school together, and my best times always included him. One of my greatest memories was when we first got to know one another in middle school. We both got the lead roles in the play, "Lost in Space and the Morgage Due". What a blast. Truth be told, high school was not the easiest time for Chris or me. Very turgulent times...but one of the things I loved most about Chris was his love for his friends. He always had a way of making me feel a part of and he reached out to me more times than I can count. It was so wonderful when Chris joinged our marching band. He took us to a whole new level of exellence and I remember all those band trips, Chris moonwalking down the isle of the band bus singing Micheal Jackson songs. I enjoyed wonderful long talks with him late at night on the phone talking about life, relationships, challenges, and dreams. He had a vest for life that was truly intoxicating. It touched my heart to know that he spread that vest all across the country after graduating from high school. He has friends everywhere! I remember when you, (Connie and Frank), moved to Richmond VA and he came to visit and we hung out during his visit. That was the last time I saw Chris, so many years ago, but we kept in contact over the years, continuing to share our challenges, dreams, and accomplishments. We had much in common, more than I realized, and I'm grateful I knew him...and feel blessed to be able to call him a friend.

My prayers continue to go out to all who are aching from his death. As I shared with Connie on facebook, I know Chris is dancing, singing, and entertaining everyone up in the clouds of heaven. That's what he did best, share his talents with others. Thank you Connie and Frank for giving the world such an exceptional man. The world will not be the same without his physical presence.

What a sad day. I lost touch with Chris when I moved to Ohio before we graduated from HS. We both loved the stage and I've always wished I could've been just 1/2 as natural and fluent as Chris. We all new he was destined for greatness!

I'll never forget his awesome smile.

Goodbye ole Pal......

Dear Colonel and Mrs. Vicente,

I was so saddened when I learned of Chris's passing. Chris and I worked together at MTV Networks shortly after he graduated from college. He was a joy to work with, a wonderful friend and a compassionate and gentle soul. His smile always lit up the room. We have kept in touch over the years through annual holiday correspondence and I always enjoyed hearing about his new adventures. He was a very special individual whose joy of life will live on in all of us who were fortunate enough to have known him.

My thoughts are with you and your family.

Sincerely,

Dear Vicente family,

I am heartbroken to hear of Chris's death. We met at John Ryan and spent well over a year working in Toronto together. That period of time launched a very special friendship for me which has endured over the past 12 years. I felt privileged to work with him - he was always ethical, energetic, hardworking, humorous and overall, a blast to be around.

I feel so fortunate that when I was in LA this August, we were able to have lunch/shop together with my 8 year old daughter, Gabby. His sensitivity towards her and the kind words he had for you both would make you more than proud. I learned a lot from Chris and will keep his spirit close to my heart, always....

I met Christopher at John Ryan Company and I have to say how continually impressed I was with him. Christopher was a true professional that would be up for anything-- and always was enthusiastic and creative no matter how dry the banking related content! He had a great sense of style and was a true individual. Really missed by all.

Dear Connie & Frank,

I met Christopher around ten years ago at John Ryan Company Minneapolis. I was sorting mail then and looked up to all the creative people I was working with. Christopher was someone I looked up to and would always take time to answer questions and give me advise. I never told him that he had such a big part in my life, helping me be who I am today. I am definitely a better person for it.

Dear Connie and Frank:
I am deeply saddened by Christopher's passing. While I had not spoken with him since being at Penn State, our experience as Lion Ambassadors will always remain in my memories. He was an intelligent, charismatic and driven person. He is in my thoughts. I am very sorry for your loss.
Sincerely,

Scott Sterling

I always admired Christopher's energy and attitude. He seemed to always be upbeat and in a great mood; and his love for Penn State was quite evident. I wish I had more time to get to know Christopher better during our time in Lion Ambassadors. He will certainly be missed by all of his friends and family; and although I am sure he made the most of every day, his time with us was too short.

Dear Connie & Frank,

Thank you for raising such a wonderful son and sharing him with the world! Chris was such an intuitive, intelligent and outgoing person. I will never forget him!

As advisor to the Lion Ambassadors, I could always count on him to get the job done. And he certainly knew how to work a room! Christopher was just as good a listener as he was a story teller! He made people feel good, like they were important and most of all that he cared. He had so many wonderful gifts and talents. I'll never forget his voice, his laugh and his energy.

I can't imagine the loss you must be feeling, but please know that Chris brought such joy to so many people. You should take heart in all that he was able to do while here on earth. His memory will last forever in our hearts.

Mr. and Mrs. Vicente:
I met Chris in high school through Scott Purnell and then became good friends with him at Penn State. I met you a few times when you graciously hosted tailgates for us. Chris, as so many have described him, was one of a kind and such a wonderful and talented person. My memories of him warm my heart still. Sadly, we lost touch after I finished law school and I was not fortunate to have seen him for many years now. That does not diminish what he meant to me. I pray that you find comfort in all the lives he so clearly touched and your own memories of him.

With deepest sympathy,

Dear Vecente Family,

Chris was one year ahead of my sister, Kathy at Bellefonte. There were so many talented people in all of the music activities, but Chris is someone who really stood out. I remember seeing him as the drum major and musicals. I remember hearing about his job at MTV and thinking that was so cool, because I watched it very often. I just loved seeing all of his talents, which helped a "shy girl" be able to shine in the drama program at Bellefonte. I most recently saw Chris a few years ago when he and especially his parents came to Perkins, where I was working. They were always so kind and genourous.

Col & Mrs Vincente,
My heartfelt condolences go out to the entire Vincente family. Chris was more than a high school classmate...he was a true leader in every aspect of life. As parents you should be commended for the unwavering qualities you nurtured in your exceptional son. We were lucky to have Chris as our Class of 1985 President, but more importantly, we were blessed to have known him as an incredible friend.

Col and Mrs Vicente,
I adored Chris. And I am so saddened by his death. There are so many of us here in Mpls who just loved and adored him and cannot believe the news. I got to know Chris while we both worked at John Ryan Co many years ago -- and then we stayed friends and colleagues and only fell out of close touch a few years ago for no reason other than busy lives and moving on to new career opportunities. Chris was wonderful. Truly a one-of-a-kind. Creative. Fun. Funny. Handsome. Spritied. Clever. We had lunch one day about 5 years ago and for some reason we talked about you both and his family for what seemed like hours. It was a great conversation because I felt like I got to know him so much better. He loved you both so much and was very proud of his family and how close he felt to you. We lost my brother many years ago but not a day goes by that I do not think of my parents missing him (as do I). It is such a tragedy to lose a child, no matter what that child's age or the circumstances. I cannot even imagine how you are coping with the loss of your beloved Chris. We will all miss him.

To the Vicente Family: I had the pleasure of meeting Chris when we were floormates freshman year at Penn State. We lost touch after college and I was amazed, though not surprised, reading about his accomplishments after Penn State. I remember lots of great times with him, and he always kept me laughing. My thoughts & prayers go out to you.

Beaker...you may have lost your hair over the years, but your energy never waivered and it will continue to fill the space around all who may have known you! I am thankful for meeting you in Lion Ambassadors and sharing our lives over the many years since. I danced for you on Saturday like we did at the Brick & Scorpion. I know you are smiling and laughing very loud! You will be missed, but NEVER forgotten. My heartfelt sympathy is with your parents.

Christopher was a rare spirit. He loved and lived a lifetimes worth and was loved the same in return. His talent will never be duplicated. He gave so much and never asked for anything in return. He was a great mentor. I can still hear his laugh. May the love and support of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Dear Vicente Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very difficult time. No words can explain the energy he showed in High School with the class of 1985. His smile will always be with us. I have often driven past the old house in Bellefonte and thought where is he now, what new adventure has he accomplished, and where is the beutiful orange Mustang he drove. Reading his obituary I now know that he never slowed down and was always pressing for something to be perfect. He will truly be missed by many and definitely by his class of 1985. God bless you all!

Dear Vicente Family,
I am unable to attend the memorial for Chris this weekend. As I am going through a medical emergency with my husband. I just wanted to let you know that your son was a remarkable person.
And, he will be sadly missed by all who's lives he touched. May God be with you to guide you through this horrible time.
Here's a poem that I found that I read it often when I'm missing someone that I've lost.

Tears
If tears could build a stairways and memories were a lane, I would walk right up to heaven to bring you home again. No farewell words were spoken no time to say goodbye you were gone before we knew it and only God knows why. My heart still aches in sadness and secret tears still flow, what it meant to lose you, no one will ever know......
