McCauley Funeral Home - YoungstownChristopher Ralph Vitello, a beloved and devoted son, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, February 11, 2026, at his residence in Youngstown, where he was born on November 3, 1992. A son of Christopher J. and Tami A. Squeglia Vitello. Christopher's sudden departure leaves a profound impact on his family and friends, who will cherish his memory and the kindness he effortlessly shared throughout his life.
A proud graduate of Liberty High School, Christopher was known for his kind and considerate nature. He approached each day with an easy-going demeanor that drew people to him, creating lasting relationships filled with warmth and camaraderie. Throughout his career, he contributed to the maintenance of the Knoll Run Golf Course, working diligently with Marucci and Gaffney Excavating, showcasing his commitment to his work and his passion for the outdoors.
Christopher is survived by his father, Chris, and his two loving sisters, Alyssa (Kevin) Barry of Perrysburg, Ohio, and Mimi (Mark) Groesch of Avon Lake. He takes with him the joy he brought to the lives of his nieces, Frankie, Emme, Gemma, and Mila, who were always brightened by his love and affection.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Tami Squeglia Vitello, whose memory will remain intertwined with his legacy. As we honor Christopher's life and the impact he made during his time with us, let us remember the kindness and joy he brought to those around him. His spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
A service will be 1:00 pm Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the Shrine of Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted, 517 South Belle Vista Avenue, Youngstown, 44509.
A gathering will immediately follow from 2 - 5 pm at Concept Studio/Downtown Draught House, 217 West Federal Street, Youngstown 44503
