Chris T. Wachter, age 37, formerly of Beaver Dam, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. His four year old son Landen also passed as a result from this accident. The visitation will be at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Monday, January 26, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Christopher Thomas Wachter was born on December 21, 1977 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, the son of Thomas Wachter and Vicki Schwoch. He attended the Beaver Dam School District and later in life moved to the Sheboygan Falls area. Chris enjoyed playing softball for various leagues in Beaver Dam and loved baseball. He was an avid outdoorsman and was always hunting or fishing. Chris' greatest joy was his children and he was very proud of everything that they did. Chris will be missed by his children, Emily and Brendan Wachter of Princeton; mother, Vicki (Rodney) Nelson of Beaver Dam; step-mother, Dolores Wachter of Beaver Dam; sisters, Tiana Wachter (Brad Kallerud) of Waupun, and Holly (Craig) Ferstl of Beaver Dam; half-sisters, Heather Wachter (Cozy McNeal) of Beaver Dam, and Danielle Wachter of Madison; step-sister, Christina Rose (David Ward) of Madison; step-brother, Michael (Laura) Rose of Marshall; grandmother, Iva Schwoch of Burnett; several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, other relative and many friends. Chris is reunited with several grandparents; his father, Tom; and is right by his son Landen's side. The Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam is caring for the family.
