Chris L. Wormell, born on August 6, 1971, in Petoskey, MI, passed away on November 20, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and adventure. A lifelong resident of Michigan, Chris found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was known for his passion for guitars, often filling his home with music and laughter. His love for the outdoors was evident in his enthusiasm for fishing, boating, and camping, where he created cherished memories with family and friends.
Chris is survived by his beloved wife, Stephanie Wormell, and their two children, Emily and Hunter, who will carry his spirit forward. He is also survived by his sister, Karen Curtiss; his brother, Les Wormell; his mother-in-law, Carla Aytes; and his brother-in-law, Nick Aytes. Chris's warm heart and adventurous spirit touched many lives, and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Chris was preceded in death by: Carol Wormell, Calvin Wormell
In celebration of his life, loved ones will gather to share stories and honor Chris's memory. Those who knew him are encouraged to bring their favorite stories and songs, as they come together to remember the joy he brought into their lives.
