Christy Taylor

Christy D. Taylor went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 27, 2023.
Christy was born on August 20, 1980, in Panama City, Florida.
Christy always loved children and was called Aunt Christy by many. She always loved hanging out with friends and family, being silly and causing laughter and many memories. One of Christy's friends also said she was a love light in a very dark place for a lot of people. She was a help to so many that live in this darkness. To lose someone like Christy, that was so bright because of her love light, is to know grief and to know there is always hope.
Christy was preceded in death by her father, Leslie Clifford Taylor; brother, Leslie Taylor, Jr.; grandfathers, Hubert Taylor and Harvey Elvin Davis; grandmothers, Henrietta Taylor and Judith Ann Willis; uncle, Harvey Elvin Davis, Jr.; aunts, Rosie Davis and Myrlene Davis; and brother-in-law, Bobby Holt (BJ).
She is survived by her mother, Sherry Ann Wert; sisters, Pamela Busby, Tracy Taylor Price (Thomas) and Jennifer Carr; aunt, Christina Killingsworth (Charles); niece and caregiver, Brittany Eddins; niece, Brianna Griffen; nephews, Zachary Taylor, Tristan Price, Allen Price, Bobby Holt, Payton Holt, Joshua Eddins (Chrissy), Michael Hall and Chase Christensen; many cousins and many special friends that she loved; and one very special dog, Cow-Cow, that she loved very much.
A celebration of life will take place on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, with Rev. Jesse Curles officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
