Chrystal Michelle Carson Williams, 56, of Marion, departed this life on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Mission Hospital McDowell.
She was born in Spruce Pine on September 11, 1967. She was a member of St. Marks Church of God in Christ of Marion. Chrystal was most recently employed at Autumn Care where she worked in the kitchen. She was a very caring, loving, bold, fun, and joyful person who had a love for all people. She will be remembered as a mama to everybody who never met a stranger. She was always friendly. Chrystal enjoyed playing games on the internet and visiting the beach. She was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Duke Blue Devils. Above all, her grandchildren were her world.
She was preceded in death by grandfather, Vernon Carson; grandmother, Alder Carson; grandsons, Johnathan Robinson and Kenareè Robinson; aunt, Mary Jane Carson; and uncle, Tommy Carson.
Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Randall Lee Davis and Margie Ellen Carson; her children, Akissi Harris, Christopher Dale Williams, Jr. (Harley Franklin), and Duke Patrick Hill; six grandchildren, Tanner Dewayne Lowery, Baylee Shea Williams, Elijah Carter Williams, Savyn Grace Harris, Amani Hill, and Paxton Hill; six siblings, Lisa Carson, Charlet Carson, Tony Conley, Shaun Lynch, Shane Davis, and Bobby Foster; nephews and niece, Devante Conley, Oronde Carson, Jaiden Carson, Jaiveon Owenby, and Iesha Carson; aunt, Vestine Regina Boyce; uncle, Vernon Carson, Jr.; and special friends, Amy Twitty Winston and Andrew Dula.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m.
