Chuck Holcomb, age 70, passed away Friday, June 20, 2025, at SECU Hospice Home in Yadkinville.
Chuck was born December 16, 1954, in Surry County to Bud and Lorene Tucker Holcomb. Chuck was of the Christian faith. He was a member of the Elkin Rescue Squad for over 50 years. Chuck loved putting together model rockets and blasting them off.
He is preceded in death by his father and his wife Janet.
Survivors include his mother, Lorene Pardue and husband Wayne of Elkin, son Chase Holcomb and wife Nikki of Yadkinville, daughter, Mary Holcomb of Yadkinville, brother, Jeff Holcomb and wife Kim of Winston-Salem, sister, Anita Hodgin and husband Jerry of Dobson; step-brothers, Marty and Michael Pardue of Elkin; grandchildren, Adalynn Holcomb and Ezekiel Holcomb, niece, Lori-Beth Petry and husband Terry, nephews; Levi Hodgin and Brad Holcomb and fiancé Melissa.
A funeral service will be held Monday, June 23, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m.– 11:00 a.m.
Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to the Elkin Rescue Squad, 940 N. Bridge St., Elkin, NC 28621
The family would like to thank the Elkin Rescue Squad and the staff of Mountain Valley Hospice for their support during this difficult time.
