Cindy C. Andreasen was born December 14, 1967, to Dale and Barbara (Strickland) Andreasen in Bridgeport, Texas. Cindy was the second child of 4 kids (3 girls and 1 boy).
They resided in Texas for her first 5 years of life. The family then relocated to Sidney, Montana, where she began her school years. The family then packed up and moved back to Bowie, Texas. Here is where she completed first through fifth grade. They all packed up again and moved back to Sidney, Montana. Cindy then completed sixth through eighth grade. The family packed up once more and moved to Midland, Texas. This is where she completed her ninth through twelfth grade.
On April 7, 1986, she had her first child, Brenon Andreasen, in Midland, Texas. She and Brenon then moved back to Sidney when he was two years old. On January 14, 1988, she had her second child Amanda Andreasen in Sidney, Montana.
She met her lifelong partner, Kent Payette, in December 1990. They began their journey together soon after. On November 2, 1992, they had their final child, Jantz Payette, in Williston, North Dakota. Soon after, Cindy suffered a severe back injury, but she did not let that stop her from living a full life. Cindy and Kent were married on July 14, 1995. Although they did not continue to be married, they continued to be partners throughout their lives.
Cindy enjoyed being with her family and friends. She had so much fun racing cars and working on them to get them ready for the next big race. She enjoyed shooting pool with her friends on pool leagues. She was the life of the pool league party. One of her favorite hobbies was going camping and fishing with her family. They were constantly in competition to see who was going to catch the biggest fish and she normally won that contest.
Being a farmer's wife/partner taught Cindy many things. From irrigating, running the farms heavy equipment and being the secretary for the farm. This led her to one of her favorite passions, driving semi-trucks. She loved it so much that she and Kent created Black Widow Trucking where she worked in the oil field hauling sand to locations all over the area. After the slowdown of oil, they closed the business.
She then focused on her family. She loved watching her grandchildren and being an instrumental part of their lives. It was one of her greatest enjoyments. All the while she battled her health issues that continued, but she did not let that stop her from enjoying her time with her family.
On July 17, 2024, Cindy's battle with her health ended at the age of 56.
Cindy is survived by her partner, Kent Payette of Fairview, Montana; son Brenon Andreasen of Fairview, Montana, and his children Jacey Iverson and Bennett Iverson; daughter Amanda Andreasen of Vancouver, Washington; son Jantz (Jessi) Payette of Fairview, Montana, and their children Ashlynn Payette and Corbin Payette; sisters Sherri Fox and Michelle Judd; brother Jerry Andreasen; "Big Sis" Lori Donald; plus numerous cousins and family.
