Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Cindy Reed Edge, age 66, of Braselton, Georgia, who passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024. Mrs. Edge was born in Gainesville, Georgia, a daughter to the late Lee Reed and the late Merla Martin Reed Sawyer. Mrs. Edge was the City Clerk with the City of Hoschton for twenty-seven years and worked for the Hall County NRCS for sixteen years. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Edge is preceded in death by her brother, Marty Reed.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Edge of Braselton; daughter, Candace Heaton and her husband Matt of Jefferson; sons, Bruce Cronic of Braselton and Kenny Edge and his wife Morgan of Cornelia; grandchildren, Tyler Cronic, Brayden Taylor, Barrett Heaton, Macie Heaton, Griffin Heaton, Asher Edge, Oaklynn Edge, Naomi Edge and Elena Edge. Brothers, Dwight Reed and his wife Pam of Braselton and Jerry Reed and his wife Elaine of Auburn also survive.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 13, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM prior to the service at Evans Funeral Home.
