Cindy Martin Edwards

Cindy Martin Edwards, 68, of Browns Summit, NC, peacefully entered Heaven on Monday, May 25, 2026. She was a faithful Christian whose life reflected kindness, compassion, and generosity. She was loving, caring, giving, and brought joy and fun to those around her.

Throughout her life, Cindy faced many health battles with incredible strength and courage. Though she endured much, she is now free from pain and resting peacefully in the arms of the Lord.

She was a wonderful and patient caregiver who always put others before herself. Her love and devotion touched many lives and will never be forgotten.

Cindy is survived by her devoted husband, Corky Edwards who faithfully stood beside her through every season of life; her stepdaughter and husband; Jennifer and Jarod Kellam, two grandsons; Nathan and Owen Kellam, her niece, Amy Turner (Kenny) her nephew, Derek Martin (Brooke); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ethan, Aiden, Taylor, Paisley and Penelope, all of whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents Clyde and Ada Martin; and her brother Leslie Martin.

While her family grieves her loss, they find comfort in knowing she is now in Heaven, healed and whole, embraced by God's eternal love.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
