Cindy Graver Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Greenlawn Funeral Home Branson on Dec. 9, 2022.
Cynthia "Cindy" Susan Graver September 26, 1958 – December 3, 2022
After one last tremendous battle, our tough-as-nails leader of the family has gone to be with the Lord in Heaven. Born to Kenneth "Jack" Scott & Barbara Scott on September 26th of 1958 in Qunicy, IL. She was the oldest of their two children growing up Bowling Green, MO. Her father Jack, a Veteran & crop duster began a lustrous career in local government, while her mother Barbara was an avid Entrepeneur, running a clothing store for nearly 25 years where Cindy spent all of her childhood working. The family were very active members of the Second Baptist Church in Bowling Green, MO. Cindy graduated early from the Bowling Green High School where she went on to college at SMSU in Springfield, MO. Cindy married the love of her life, Rick Graver in August of 1977. They went on to have their first child, Adam in June of 1979. After several moves the family resided in Springfield, MO in the early 1980s. In 1983 Rick & Cindy with the help of their family, began Stanley Steemer of the Ozarks, a family operated business that would span the next 40 years of their lives. Their second child, Sarah was born in April of 1985. By 1988 Cindy would then spread her wings further and take on one of the most prestigious careers as a Real Estate agent. Over the following decades Cindy served her community & clients by providing the utmost service of buying & selling homes. She and Rick began a homebuilding career in the mid 90's leaving a true legacy of excellence & beauty all over the Springfield community. Their final home built was their dream home in Branson West, MO where they resided the next 14 years. However, the recession in '08 changed Cindy & Rick's path once again leading the way to an outstanding career as well-respected home remodelers. Turning her passions of design into reality. Cindy was a one-of-a-kind go getter. Built on class, intelligence, beauty & drive. Her fierceness led to a tremendous career with multiple accomplishments that were received. She was well respected & will forever be remembered for being a devoted wife of 45 years, an unforgettable Mother, an amazing KiKi & one of the most loyal friends you could ask for. Cindy is preceded in death by her Mother and Father; Grandson Hayden Scott Graver. Cindy is survived by her husband Rick Graver (Springfield, MO), her children: Adam Graver, Sarah "Graver" Mayfield (Troy) of West Plains, MO; her Grandchildren: Madilyn Mayfield, Olivia Mayfield, Ryker Graver and Marlaina "Marli-Sue" Mayfield; her brother Allen Scott (Sheila) of Ozark, MO; as well as many other close family members & treasured friends. Please join our family to celebrate the beautiful life of Cindy Graver as we hold her very last Open House on December 18, 2022. Visitation to begin at 2pm at the Greenlawn South Funeral Home with service to follow at 3pm.

I was sad to hear of Cindy's passing. I am a neighbor and only knowing her a short time, but she was very friendly and nice to talk with. I was glad to know her and Rick and I will miss seeing her.
Condolences to her family from neighbor Rose Posson.
