Cindy Johnson

Cindy Johnson, 58, of Manistique, Michigan, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She was born on March 07, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois, to Charles and Janice (Prucha) Sperka. Her family moved to Michigan when Cindy was a young girl. She graduated from Norway High School with the class of 1985. On April 5, 2002 she married Steve Johnson in Manistique, MI, where they built a life together.
Cindy cherished her husband, two daughters and family. She especially enjoyed outside adventures with her husband, spending quality time with her daughters, and going on walks with her two dogs, Roxie and Nikki. Cindy took pride in the calmness of her life and found joy in the simple things.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Steve Johnson of Manistique; two daughters, Heather Weaver of Manistique and Brianna "Jenny" Weaver of Cleveland, Ohio; mother, Janice (Prucha) Sperka of Hermansville; mother-in-law, Ruth Ann Johnson of Manistique; brother, Charles (Sandy) Sperka of Beaver Dam, Wi.; brother-in-law, Kevin (Lisa) Johnson of Manistique; and sister-in-law, Angela Martinez of Ludington; several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her cherished dogs, Roxie and Nikki and her beloved granddog, Chloe. Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Charles Sperka and her father-in-law, Robert G. Johnson.
Honoring the wishes of Cindy, there will be no public services.
Memorial donations may be directed to the Eva Burrell Animal Shelter in Manistique, MI.
