Lucinda “Cindy” Mouthaan age 70, of Kent City, passed into the loving arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, October 27, 2025 at Corewell Health Butterworth Campus with her family at her side. She was born January 28, 1955 in Lansing, MI the daughter of Roger and Barbara (Wooten) Swartout. She worked at Trinity Health St. Mary’s for 40 years as a respiratory therapist. Cindy spent her free time crocheting, cross stitching, scrapbooking and playing board games with her family. She was musically talented and played the piano at church for many years. Her faith was the center of her life and she was always willing to lend a hand to whomever needed it. Her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Scott; daughters, Katelyn (Justin) Stewart, Leslie (Jason) Norman; grandchildren, Charlee, Emrie, Jaxon and Rylee; sister, Sherry (Ross) See; special cousin, Cathy Anderson; uncles, Rick (Ann) Wooten, Randy (Lori) Wooten. She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Sadie. The family will greet friends, Monday, November 3 from 6 – 8 pm at the K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The service will be held Tuesday 1:00 pm at the Kent City Baptist Church. Pastor Chris Weeks officiating. Interment Idlewild Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with a headstone and any balance will be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital
