Cindy J. Shepard, 62 of Streator passed away Thursday (August 1, 2024) at St. Anthony’s Medical Center, Rockford.
Visitation will be held Friday from 10a.m. until 12noon at the Winterrowd Funeral Home with services following at noon. Cremation rites will follow services.
Cindy was born September 16, 1961in Streator to Dennis (Evelyn (Majercin) Danko.
Surviving are her children, Jeremy (Carrie) Shepard of Lostant, Sarah Shepard of Streator, Hannah (Collin) Ireland of Streator and Johnny (Andrea) Klein of California, 11 grandchildren, brothers, Dennis (Kathy) Danko of Lowell, Jeffrey Danko of Wisconsin and Rodney Danko of Streator.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her son Luke.
Cindy attended St. Stephen’s Grade School and graduated from Streator High School in 1979. She was formerly employed at Thatcher/Anchor Glass, Red Wing and currently at Clover Technology in Ottawa.
Memorials may be made to the C.O.P.D. Foundation or to the family.
