The family will receive friends Tuesday morning from 10 - 10:45 at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.
Claire is survived by her daughter, Amanda Johnson and husband, Jerry of Wilson; grandsons, Billy Brockman of Wilson and Daniel Brockman and wife, Catherine of Godfrey, Illinois; great-grandsons, Judah Brockman and Davis Brockman; sister, Mildred Baker and her brother, Donald Whitley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Billy R. Davis; daughter, Lindy Carol Davis; parents, Charlie and Rosa Lee Whitley; sisters, Elsie Pittman and Rose Ward and her brothers, Archie Whitley and Charlie Whitley.
